ED Co. Ltd, South Korea

In the year 2013 C.V. Raman College of Engineering and ED Co. Ltd, South Korea had entered into a common understanding of collaboration with a focus on strengthening Technology Training and improving educational systems.

As per the agreement:

  • ED will seek to provide technology transfers in order to enhance the technical knowhow to CVRCE in the areas: Robotics Education Technology, Manufacturing Automation Technology, Electrical, and Electronics and in other Engineering departments.
  • CVRCE has purchased different types of trainer kits related to Robotics and Industrial Automation.
  • ED has provided group technical training to CVRCE faculties in Korea.
  • ED is willing to support CVRCE’s vision of becoming a specialized support centre for Robotics training. This centre will increase the efficiency of the college and attract talented candidates to the fast paced field of Robotics.
  • ED Co, Ltd is a South Korea based robotics company. It is leading laboratory equipments supplier. ED is making great stride in new, latest IT Technology. It is also known for its research in the field of Educational Robots. It supplies Robotics equipments as well as helps setting up of Robotics Labs in different part of the world.

    E-yantra Lab, IIT Bombay

    Under the roof of CVRCE Robotics Centre of Excellence, e-yantra Embedded Systems & Robotics Lab has also been setup in the year 2016.

    E-yantra is a MHRD sponsored project of IIT Bombay to spread education in Embedded Systems and Robotics through Nation Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT).

    A team of faculties from CVRCE has gone through Embedded Systems & Robotics training by e-yantra Lab, IIT Bombay to guide the students at CVRCE e-yantra Lab.

    The CVRCE team is not only successfully completed the training and tasks but also one of the top performing team in TBT Challenge - 2016 and a special invitee under “Sponsored” category to the e-yantra Symposium (eYS-2017).

    In CVRCE e-yantra Lab, the enthusiast and Robotics hobbyist students come and do research on embedded systems and robotics. They also realize different interesting and technologically very amazing live projects. They also participate in different robotics competitions all over India.
