Why Embedded Systems and Robotics

In the present day scenario popularity of Embedded Systems and Robotics is spreading very rapidly. Almost every home/everybody are using embedded system directly or indirectly. Example of Embedded systems are: Calculator, Computer Keyboard, Mouse, Pen drive, Digital watch, Electronics Toys, TV/DTH remotes, Washing machine, Digital weight machine, printer, etc. The list of the embedded devices is endless. We are so attached/depended on the embedded devices that one cannot think of spending a day without Embedded Systems. Robotics is the new emerging technology. Robotics and Embedded Systems are co-related. Most of the plants/machineries are getting automated very rapidly. In this Robotics is playing very big part. In coming days Robotics is going to play a very important role in our day to day life. That is why learning Embedded Systems and Robotics is very important.

In Diploma/B Tech courses students study programming language like C/C++, Python, etc; along with this they also study electrical, electronics, instrumentation including sensors, motors, microcontrollers and many more. But during their normal time schedule they do not get enough scope to use that knowledge to implement different projects. And this is the main reason why in the present day scenario most of the Diploma/B Tech projects are just wastage of time and money. Students do not do anything up to their last semester. Just one or two weeks before they buy projects from market and submit that. Also in the present educational system, a huge gap is present between the educational institutions courses and what is going on in the Industries.

To bridge the gap between the Educational institutions and Embedded systems and Robotics Industries, it is very essential to impart Embedded systems and Robotics training in educational institutions.
